The website of the National Child Protection Clearinghouse is a must visit internet site. In a two-way involvement with the community concerned with child abuse, the National Clearinghouse collects, shares, monitors and distributes information on the prevention of child abuse and neglect. It has four major functions repository, databases, networking/outreach and advisory.
The following sites are a selection of the child abuse prevention links identified by the national clearinghouse. They cover support services, information resources, research projects, legislation and policy initiatives of government and non-government organisations available on the internet.

Formerly Australian Association of Young People in Care (AAYPIC) - a consumer movement for and by children and young people who are, or have been in care. The group predominately involved in AAYPIC are aged 10-25 years. Domestic Violence and Incest Resource Centre (DVIRC) provides counselling, information and referral to survivors of domestic violence, child sexual abuse and incest, and to the family, friends and workers who support them. It is funded by the Department of Human Services Victoria (Australia).

Domestic Violence Resource Centre (DVRC) aims to achieve social and systemic change that will uphold the human rights of women and their children to live free from gender based violence in all its forms. It provides a network of safe places for children to go to and provides children with the skills and confidence to feel safe.
