SNAICC Annual General Meeting and Members Forum 2006

SNAICC will hold its Annual General Meeting and Members' Forum in Cairns, Queensland, from Wednesday 15 to Thursday 16 November 2006.

SNAICC members from across the country will gather to set the next year's priorities and policy agenda for SNAICC – the national peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.

The Member's Forum, to be held on Wednesday 15 November, is an ideal opportunity for representatives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled children's and families' services to share their insights on the pressing issues facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the country.

The SNAICC Strategic Plan 2007–2009 will also be launched at the Annual General Meeting, which is on Thursday 16 November.

The outcome from the election of the SNAICC National Executive will also be reported at the AGM by the returning officer, SNAICC Executive Officer Julian Pocock.

The new National Executive will hold its first meeting immediately after the AGM to elect the organisation's Office Bearers.

Members attending the AGM will have the opportunity to visit with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children's services and communities around Cairns on the Friday.
